The Wind Ensemble will be giving a practice performance at Mountainside HS in Beaverton this Friday at 7:00pm (Call time for W.E. members is 5:40pm, ready to listen to Southridge at 6:00). We will practice getting on and off a foreign stage using other people’s equipment, play through our festival set, and even go through the sight reading room protocol where the group is handed a brand new piece of music – given 7 minutes to discuss and study – and then perform the new piece of music live for adjudication. The Southridge Wind Ensemble is also giving a performance starting at 6:00pm. If you plan on attending, please be respectful as there will be performing and clinic work happening on stage.
