The Sherwood High School Wind Ensemble has been selected to represent our district and state at the 2026 Oregon Music Educators Association conference in Eugene, Oregon. Each year, middle schools, high schools, and collegiate institutions across Oregon compete for this honor by submitting recordings of past performances—only a select few are chosen to perform. Being selected is a significant achievement that reflects the quality of our program and the dedication of our students. Our Sherwood Band Program, parents, students, and directors are incredibly proud to represent our community on this stage.
In preparation for this event, we are giving an OMEA Preview Concert on Wednesday, January 14 at 7:00 pm in the Sherwood High School Auditorium. All are welcome to attend and admission is free.
This performance will showcase our Sherwood HS Wind Ensemble Musicians, directed by Brant Stai, and will also feature guest soloist JáTtik Clark, Principal Tuba of the Oregon Symphony.
