The Sherwood Percussion Ensemble (Winter Percussion Ensemble) is a creative & competitive percussion ensemble that performs and competes in the indoor pageantry in the NWAPA Circuit & WGI. This indoor setting is a unique environment that encourages musical and visual excellence and growth. This venue gives students the opportunity to achieve extraordinary feats through performance and competition. SPE rehearses & performs from December through early April. Anyone who is enrolled in a band class is welcome to participate in this ensemble regardless of whether or not percussion is your main instrument. Part placement is by audition, and a varying spectrum of musical roles are available to students.
