Dear SHS Band Musicians Seeking a Challenge – Music & Info for All-State Auditions (Jazz Band, Wind Ensemble, and Orchestra) are below. All-State Band, Orchestra, and Jazz are honor ensembles run by the Oregon Music Educator’s Association (OMEA). This is an incredibly rewarding experience for students to gather with fellow motivated student musicians from around the state of Oregon and have the privilege to rehearse and perform with renowned guest conductors. These groups are by audition only. There is an audition fee just to try out and there are additional costs if you make it into one of the All-State Ensembles. This year’s All-State Ensembles rehearse and perform January 12-15.
