Hello Band Members & Parents, We’re excited to share our concert with you tonight. Reminder that call time for students is 6:30pm (walking through the door in concert attire). The Concert will begin promptly at 7pm.

Hello Sherwood HS Band Members & Families,
I am excited to invite you to our Winter Concert at 7pm on Wednesday, December 8 in the Sherwood HS Auditorium. Our Band Members have been working hard in rehearsal crafting notes for this occasion. We ask that our band students participate in all facets of the concert, from warmup, to performance, to observation of the other performing ensembles, and cleanup.
Below is the student itinerary:
6:30pm – Student Call time in Concert Attire
7:00pm – Concert Performance – Jazz Band, Bowmen Band, Concert Band, Wind Ensemble
8:45pm – Approx. Concert Over (Band Members need to return chairs & stands and their equipment to band room).
Entrance to the auditorium is located just inside the commons entrance, on the left hand side once you walk into the building.
Mask Protocol: Masks are required for audience members. Leaving one chair of space between you and your neighbor is encouraged, however families are encouraged to sit together adjacently. Band members will be wearing masks the entire time. Once woodwinds and brass have taken their seats, they will remove their masks for the performance.
I cannot believe it’s almost the end of the first trimester of school already. Making music in person and in class has been therapeutic to say the least and I can’t wait to give these wonderful students a performing experience in our auditorium.

Jazz & Concert Pictures: We will be taking pictures during band classes on Friday, December 10. Jazz Bands will be taking photos during zero period.
