From Nathanael Ankeny – Dear Jazz Musicians, I’m excited to be hosting a Jazz Jam at the Tualatin Island Greens (20400 SW Cipole Rd, Tualatin, OR 97062) on Saturday, September 9th from 7:00 – 9:00pm.
Let’s start the year off with some jazz education! This is a great learning opportunity for your students. They are welcome to sit in on a tune, or just to come and see what a “jam” is like. This is an encouraging, friendly session.
So please tell your students about this! Or, come on out yourself and play!
I’ve attached a list of tunes to get the jam started. Students can call other tunes at the session as well.
