Please Help This Saturday 5/20 – Can Drive! Band Trailer Puller Needed Too…

Thank you to those who have signed up this far.  In looking at the Volunteerspot Link, it appears that we really need help starting at noon.  I know there were many Parents/Students who are participating in Jazz State Competition this day.  The schedule is out for that now, and it looks like you should be home around noon.

If you could come help out for a couple of hours  when you get home, that would be great!

The student sign ups are not filling quickly, parents, will you sign your student up for a shift or two or encourage them to sign up?  This day will go so much faster if we have many helping hands.  Invite your friends to come help sort!

My experience in attending the past 10+ can drives is that 15% of the band parents/students are doing 90% of the work this day.  If you have not helped out at a can drive, please carve a little time out of your day Saturday to come help us.  This can be a really easy way for us to earn a large sum of money in a short period of time.

I need one of our band trailer puller parents to check their schedule for Saturday as well.  Are any of you available to take one or both of the trailer pulling shifts?  I also need someone to pick up the trailer from the bus barn on Fridaybefore they close at 4:30 so we have it for the Can Drive!  Once the can drive is finished, the trailer can be returned to the high school so that we can use it to load percussion equipment and instruments to pull to the Sherwood Center for the Arts on Tuesday, May 23 for our band concert!  (I also need help that day with someone willing to pull the trailer to the center at 3:00 p.m. and then return to the school after the concert to unload.)  Please email me if you can help!

My pleading is done…for now…Here is the link to volunteerspot for you to sign up!  Thank you so much for helping!
