Due to the mudslides on I-5 North of Vancouver, and the detours that are happening right now around that area, we are going to make some very important tweaks to tomorrow’s itinerary.
6:45am – Percussion & Load Crew Call Time – We will begin packing percussion items and loading the trailer.
7:15am – WW & BRASS Call Time
7:25am – W.E. Meeting in Band Room Regarding Itinerary
7:45am – Load Charter Bus QUICKLY
8:00 am – Depart
There are a couple of alternate routes that we could take (Rainier route, and an I-5 side highway/road route that bypasses the slide area) and we will make the best decision in the morning with the bus company based on road conditions.
We are budgeting between 5.5 – 6 hours of commute time to our destination based on these routes.
It wouldn’t be the 2016-17 school year without inclement weather making travel difficult; Improvise, Adapt, Overcome!
