Can & Bottle Drive Info

Our last big fundraiser for the school year is coming up.  Mark your calendars for the Can & Bottle Drive on Saturday, May 21st.
Students, we need your help with flier distribution the week before the drive!!!  Sign up sheet is posted in the SHS band room.  Fliers, supplies, and maps will be available on Monday, May 16th.  Work with your group to plan for a parent driver if needed.  We would like students to get together and distribute fliers to an assigned neighborhood anytime before May 20th.  It’s an easy task that just takes a little time.  The more involved, the quicker it will be done!!  Details about picking up packets will be emailed to you.
We need volunteers to haul our band trailer on May 21st.  We have split the day and have 2 sign ups for hauling the trailer.  If you are available (and have the vehicle) to haul our band trailer to Grocery Outlet in King City from our collection depot at Middleton Elementary, please sign up for one of the shifts, or both!  We will have many student and adult helpers to help with the unloading at Grocery Outlet.  I also need a willing and able volunteer to get our band trailer from the bus barn on Thursday or Friday (during the work day) before the can drive.  **I am so grateful to the families who have the ability to haul our trailer.  This wouldn’t work without you!!!!
Please take a minute to look over the volunteer spot below.  We need adult and student helpers throughout the day.  Sign up with your friends…it’s easy work and there will be pizza!!!  The shifts are between 2 and 3 hours each.  Please give your time to our bands!!  Our last can drive raised $3000!!!
