The SHS Wind Ensemble was selected to perform at the National Association for Music Education’s (NAfME) All Northwest Conference. This is a very prestigious honor for our Instrumental Program and School as only 15-20 bands are chosen from 6 States (Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, and Alaska).
The Conference will take place in Portland February 14th-17th. The Wind Ensemble will perform and participate as a demonstration band for University of Colorado’s Director of Bands, Dr. Allan McMurray’s session on ” Teaching an Ensemble to Listen”.
