Now that Marching Band has come to an end, I would like to encourage more students to take part in a great opportunity here at Sherwood by participating in Jazz II! Supported by our Band Boosters, this band is coached by Mr. Jack Quinby. We are very fortunate to have someone as skilled and knowledgeable to be working with our students.The band is also a great way to fine tune your jazz skills to prepare for Jazz I. Most of our Jazz I students will be chosen from the members of Jazz II.
At this time, we are low on participation and need to increase our numbers to continue this group. It is open to all who would like to participate and is not limited to just jazz instruments.
The band meets Tuesday and Thursday mornings in the PAC from 7-7:50am. Hope to see you there this Thursday.
