3rd ANNUAL BAND DAY!!!!
SEPT. 10th 9am-4pm
Marching band and colorguard members will go door to door asking for donations from 10 am-4 pm. If you miss them in your neighborhood, you will have an opportunity to donate at businesses around the town, including Albertsons, where you will also get a sampling of the upcoming marching band show music “The Greatest Generation”. This year the show will have a jazz feel with a focus on the 1920’s, 30’s and 40’s Americana.
Funds are used for expenses including uniforms, instruments, music, transportation, competition fees and scholarships for the growing band programs.
To see more of their upcoming performance, watch for them at the home SHS VarsityFootball half-time shows throughout the season.
Our goal this year is to raise over $6,000. The boosters will be asking for parent drivers and chaperones for that day. Please look for sign ups at the BBQ.
All funds go to support the Marching Band and other department performing groups.
