The Wind Ensemble will be giving a State Preview Concert in the Sherwood High School Auditorium on Thursday, May 12. This is always an incredibly helpful concert as it allows us to practice getting on and off stage while being timed. I am also excited to once again be able share this concert stage with Mountainside high school.
May 12 Schedule:
5:30 – Call Time (Mountainside can store their cases in F350)
5:50 – Warmup in band room
6:20 – Move to auditorium to listen
6:30 – Mountainside Performance
7:05 – Mountainside Clinic (Sherwood back to Band Room)
7:20 – reset stage for Sherwood Performance
7:30 – Sherwood Performance
8:05 – Clinic
8:20 – Cleanup
8:35 – Go Home!
The Wind Ensemble is also performing at the OSAA Band Contest on Saturday, May 14 at 7:30pm. The location is the La-Salle Stewart Center on OSU’s campus in Corvallis.
