Dear Wind Ensemble Parents & Students, We learned this past week that the Sherwood HS Wind Ensemble was selected to perform LAST at the OSAA 6A Band Contest on Saturday, May 12th. This is a HUGE honor. It’s a terrific honor to even be selected to perform at state, and it will be an INCREDIBLE experience to get to perform in the evening block on stage. The house will be packed and the energy will be huge. These kids will most likely never play for an audience like this ever again. We’re going to embrace the moment and savor it!
Location: LaSells Stewart Center at Oregon State University in Corvallis, OR.
Ticket prices are $8 or $5 for students. They are good for the whole day and ALL of the bands sounds great!

- 12:30 – Call Time in Concert Attire in SHS Band Room
- 12:40 – Warm Up & Rehearsal
- 1:20 – Percussion Start Pack up
- 1:25 – Pack up
- 1:45 – Load Bus
- 2:00 – Depart
- 3:45 – Arrive & Store Instruments
- 4:15 – Observe Roseburg & Westview
- 5:15 – Dinner – Served by Band Boosters
- 6:00 – Listen to West Salem
- 6:30 – Get instruments out & take picture
- 6:45 – Line up for Warmup Room
- 7:00 – Warm Up
- 7:30 – Perform
- 8:00 – Sight Read
- 8:30 – Put Instruments Away, go out to stage
- 8:45 – Awards
- 9:20 – Load Bus & Depart
- 11:15pm – Arrive at SHS
