SMB Parents – Grants Pass Information

We will be kicking off our Competition Season by travelling to Grants Pass on Friday, October 13 for our October 14th competition.  We only have enough money in the budget to stay one night in the Hotel in Grants Pass.  After careful consideration we are asking for each MB student to pay $30 to the Boosters for a SECOND night stay.  The competition will end around 9:30 with a 10:30 departure and it is a long dark (and most likely wet) drive home to Sherwood on school buses.  We will pack up and return to the hotel Saturday night, and get up first thing Sundaymorning to return to Sherwood.  We feel that this will be the safest and most sensible way to make this trip possible.  The hotel will feed the students a complimentary breakfast, and they will return home by lunch time. Please watch for a more detailed travel itinerary when it gets closer.

Please make your $30 checks payable to Sherwood Band Boosters and have your student place it in the lock box in the band room or you can Mail the payment to Sherwood Band Boosters 21370 SW Langer Farms Parkway, Suite 142, Box 256, Sherwood, Oregon 97140. Please be sure to indicate student name and “Grants Pass” in the memo.  Payment for the hotel stay is due by Friday, September 22.  If you have a  financial hardship, please respond to this e-mail.
