The Robin Hood Festival Marching Band is an excellent opportunity for all community members to participate in a musical marching ensemble and share their music making with the Sherwood community. We believe that we should have as many community members involved as possible; our motto is “the more the merrier”.
This year we will be playing two songs: “Rock That!/September” and “Emblems of America”.
T-shirts and hats will be provided. This year we are rolling out a brand new design for our T-shirts, so everyone will need one; please e-mail your size to bstai@sherwood.k12.or.us. We ask that you wear a khaki-colored type of shorts or pants, your favorite athletic shoes, and then we will have t-shirts and hats for you.
The parade is Saturday, July 15th in Sherwood. Call time will be announced at rehearsal.
Rehearsals will held in the Sherwood High School Band Room at 6:30pm on Monday, July 10th, Wednesday, July 12th, and Friday July 14th. Please plan on attending at least 2 of these rehearsals.
