This past weekend both of our Sherwood HS Jazz Bands performed at the first ever state jazz band competition at Mt. Hood Community College. Both groups gave outstanding performances (see audio/video below).
Jazz I finished 9th place in the 6A category. This is very exciting to be considered a Top 10 program for jazz in the state!!!
Jazz II finished 1st place in the 4A category. This is also very exciting and awesome to see how this band has thrived under the direction of Mr. Ankeny.
