2017 WGI TRIP INFO PACKET

Greetings to all current and future Sherwood Percussion Ensemble members and their families. We are incredibly excited to announce the plans for the 2017 Spring WGI Southern California Trip! WGI has confirmed that the dates of the contest will be March 25th & 26th at the beginning of Spring Break for Sherwood High School. The dates are set, the show is on! This is an life changing opportunity for the members of SPE to experience performing and competing on a national stage. SPE will be a part of an event that includes many of the best percussion ensembles in the world. This type of trip can represent a huge step forward for an instrumental music program and it’s booster organization by creating a broader national vision for music students at Sherwood High School. The Trip will last 4 or 5 days. Our goal is to keep costs down while providing a memorable trip balanced with performance, hard work, team bonding and fun!
