You are cordially invited to an Evening of Percussion – Thursday, April 7th @ 7:00pm in the Sherwood HS Main Gym. The performance will consist of soloists, Sherwood Cadet Percussion Ensemble (Middle School Ensemble), and Sherwood Percussion Ensemble (High School Ensemble). Solo performances will be given by students who have worked up solo repertoire which includes students who have qualified to perform in the OSAA Solo contest. This is a chance for everyone to relax and watch the wonderful productions that all of the students have worked on. SCPE will perform around 7:30p with SPE ending the evening around 8:15p.
The Sherwood HS Band program gives over 70 unique performances each year, however I felt it would be a special treat to invite you out to see this type of concert venue. It is a type of performance that is not as often observed by those outside of our program.
If you have not yet witnessed our two percussion ensemble perform yet this year, it is an incredible treat. Both ensembles finished first place in their division at the NWAPA Winter Championships.
