Saturday is going to be such a fun day full of music and band fun! I know many families have been waiting to find out when their student is performing at the District Solo and Ensemble Festival in West Linn. I hope you have had a chance to look over the schedule that was sent last week. Because….
We need more volunteers to pull off our biggest fundraiser of the year!! There are positions available for set up (which is decorating the commons, and is a lot of fun!), clean up (the more, the merrier. It went VERY fast last year!), and kitchen help for both shifts (don’t be intimidated…no actual cooking is required. Someone will point you to where you are needed. Easy!!) We also need 1 more helper at Archer Glen at 2:00. These volunteers work with Jo, our fabulous district cook who has helped with SWS each year, to prepare sauce and pasta and transport it to SHS. Please look at the volunteer spot right away, as it will be a big help to have all of our volunteers sorted out as soon as possible. Thank you!!! REMINDER! SHS students need to turn in their ticket envelopes tomorrow, Tuesday!! Make sure that all ticket money, raffle stubs, and any extra tickets are in the envelope. Note, all checks can be made to Sherwood Band Boosters.
