Swingin’ with Spaghetti is coming up on Saturday February 27th. Here’s what’s going on today…
– SHS Band students are selling dinner and raffle tickets! Today, SHS Band students received 4 dinner tickets. They are $12 each. Students can see Mr. Stai if they need more dinner tickets to sell. Students also received 5 raffle tickets. These tickets are $10 each, for the chance to win an IPad Pro!! With 32 GB of storage and 12.9 inches of screen fun, this $779.00 prize will make someone very happy!! Please note, all money from ticket sales, and any unsold tickets are due back to Mr. Stai on or before Tuesday, February 23rd.
– Middle school families who are interested in purchasing tickets may do so through any SHS band student, or by communicating with Mr. Dyer or Mr. Angeloni.
– There are volunteer opportunities for those that want to help out with this fun event. Please see this link http://vols.pt/6NWJfJand sign up for your spot now. It’s a fun night of volunteering, and if your student is performing, we will make sure you are able to enjoy their performance. In general, middle school jazz bands perform in the first half of the evening, and SHS jazz bands perform in the second half. The volunteer positions are only for a portion of the evening, so there is plenty of time to enjoy your friends and family at dinner, and check out the auction items.
– We have been collecting some amazing auction items from some very generous band supporters!! Trust me when I say you won’t want to miss the auction tables. There is truly something for everyone. More details coming on auction items next week.
