Swingin’ with Spaghetti is coming on Saturday, February 27th and you will want to mark your calendars!! This is such a fun tradition for the band community. It began with a recipe for amazing sauce, which is a family recipe from Mr. Angeloni! Today, we offer something for everyone, including vegetarian and gluten free meals. The SHS band students are the servers for the evening, and all of the middle and high school jazz bands will be setting the mood and providing entertainment for the evening. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year!!
The evening also includes a silent auction. Items have been coming in for several weeks, and there is definitely something for everyone!! If you, or someone you know would like to donate items or services to the silent auction, please let me know!
SHS students will be bringing home ticket packets soon that include dinner and raffle tickets. Mr. Dyer and Mr. Angeloni will have information about purchasing tickets at the middle schools. Please continue to watch your email for more information about that.
Today, we are sharing the volunteer schedule for the evening. As with every fundraiser, it won’t happen without help! Please take a look at the volunteer link below and sign up for what works for you. Mr. Stai let everyone know that Swingin’ with Spaghetti falls on the same date as the OMEA Solo and Ensemble festival in West Linn. We have thought through the volunteer times accordingly, and are not beginning set up until 2:00 to allow families to support their students at the festival along with volunteering.
