Winter Showcase Volunteers Needed

Calling all Volunteers whether it be band members, colorguard, honor students, or family members!

We’re about 10 days out from the Sherwood Winter Showcase guard and winter percussion competition. You’ve all done a great job getting us started with volunteers, but we still have quite a way to go, with about 2/3 of our spots needing to be filled.

All of our jobs are easy to do: concession sales, door monitor, ticket sales, parking lot attendant, and more. There are jobs appropriate for kids (band members, siblings), and some that are only for adults. These are clearly labeled.

If you haven’t, please go to and sign up today. If you already have signed up, thank you! Please consider checking your calendar, and seeing if you might be able to do one more thing. If you are signed up, but your significant other isn’t, make a date of it! Get grandma and grandpa involved too. There are plenty of opportunities to help, and all of the money we raise goes to support guard and middle and high school band programs.
Thanks for all your help and support. If you have any specific questions, please email me at
