SHS Winter Guard

Open to current 9th-12th grades

Previous dance, band, theater, or performing arts experience recommended

Kickoff is November 15th 9-4 @ Sherwood Middle School Main Gym
3:30pm Parent Meeting

What is Color guard?

Color Guard combines dance and pageantry, flags and auxiliary equipment. Guard is for students who love to dance and perform. We build confidence and athleticism while nurturing teamwork and individual responsibility through the world of competitive pageantry arts.

We perform along with the marching band, at games, parades, and during the winter we travel to several regional competitions competing against other teams across the Northwest.

Color Guard is a great way to build bonds and teamwork, lasting friendships, and a sense of community here at Sherwood. We love our team, we work hard and mostly we have fun!
